I'm a device application programmer & over time I have utilized both Android & iPhone gear. Sadly it's true that a lot of people have the iPhone to just gloat.
But there happen to be a few important features which makes iDevices a smart choice . The iPhone is strong security wise. No 3rd party apps are able to view your call info, emails & other features, which should be considered vitally important. With Android phones it is normal that third party apps have permission read the phone's calling info & text message info. Think about if you have downloaded some game and it could read & send your phone's emails or other data such as account details.
And also consider the equipment consumers that really do not consider the access permission requests whilst downloading & installing new apps. Each and every one of the games on the app marketplace are thoroughly vetted via Apple manually as well as via the automated system prior to displaying it on the app marketplace. So there are no chances of spy games and apps showing on App Store. However the Android devices, an unknown app programmer is able to upload any version of app.
Thinking about performance, the iPad has shown itself to be very good, place an iPhone in one hand & have a Galaxy phone in your other. When you dial a phone number & view the result. This execution time is without equal in an Apple device. Apple's typing interface continues to be wonderful on iPhone. Especially when one is typing in the built in browser. Apple always provides new OS updates to all devices. But the cheap Android phones are not upgradable and will be outdated in next 1 year. That's another major issue with most of the Android phones.
Overall hardware is far better in iOS with compare to Android phones. Whether it is body, battery back up, battery life etc. Calling is also very good in iPhones. Have you ever seen that someone is talking over iPhone and voice is coming out? But on most of the Android phones voice comes out why calling and can be listened easily by nearby people. iPhones are strong enough. You may have noticed that you do not see someone's iPhone with cracked screen. But in case of Android like Micromax you may seen a lot of people with broken screens. iPhone screen glass is strong enough and does not break on soft falls.
